Hygienic Art's Visual Scavenger Hunt Returns!!!

Calling all PHOTOGRAPHERS & POETS!

On January 28th from 9am-1pm, pick up your PHOTO-GIENIC packet containing guidelines and a list of words. Then go on a scavenger hunt to capture those words in photos.

Poets can use that list of words to create poems which will be displayed along side submitted photos.

All work will be displayed at Expressiones on Friday, February 3 from 6-8pm at the PHOTO-GIENIC opening! For more info contact Sara at sara.connolly@sbcglobal.net or Alison at akclicks@comcast.net

Comment by Bob Spitz on January 28, 2012 at 4:14pm: It is unfortunate that it did not state anywhere that a limited number of participants was allowed. The description suggests that if you came anytime between 9 and 1 you could pick up a packet, but that was not the case.

(I'm still working on media notification...) May I assume you mean for people to pick up the packets on 1/28 at the Hygienic? (And not at Expressiones?)

Another question, if a person is out of town on 1/28, would it be possible for him/her to pick up a packet after 1/28, or do you even want to go there?

Comment by Sara Connolly on January 17, 2012 at 8:07pm: 5 x 7 unmatted and unframed photographs would need to be dropped off at the Hygienic by closing on Feb. 1st. You may interpret the list of words with photographs and/or poetry. Amateurs and professionals welcome-no judge or jury. Just bring your creativity and have fun with it!
