Because you stuck it to the man & i love guerrilla galleries. We're struggling here in Eugene with a dead downtown, many empty spaces and an apathetic city council. Yet we have tons of artists & creative people. Your a great role model! I'm inspired to do something similar here.

Welcome to Hygienic Cyberspace! Great idea to have a Hygienic Art Show in Eugene. There is one in Pittsburgh, now in its 7th year and another in New Haven.
They've basically use the Salon des Independants model to empower all of the artists and non artists into a great free for all, anti-establishment exhibition. Remember those French Impressionists were anti establishment artists of their time. Google "Salon des Independants" and hit the translate button for more info on that show which is still held in Paris since 1884. Let me know if I can help you cause.
