My brain has a quirky visual Rolodex, absorbing as much as possible from people, places, Ads, and worst of all; the internet. I mentally catalog them like some sort of strange visual-information hoarder. In order to clear some space in my head, I brain dump all over what materials I favor at the time; be that oil, acrylic, BIC pen, Xerox, or printmaking principal mash-ups.
Elisha Schauer recently graduated from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts with a BFA in painting. New London CT, is where her cats live and she sleeps. Elisha plays with paper, glue and paint for fun and facture. With stars in her eyes and dreads on her head, she continues on the course to becoming a professional tattoo artist.
