Hygienic Poets 2009: Roots Revolution Renaissance

February 7, 2009 all day

Poets celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hygienic's Salon des Independents, the arts event of the winter in New London Connecticut. Starting with an open mic at 7:00 and ending with a poetry slam with cash prizes of $200 (1st place), $100 (2nd place) and $50 (3rd place). Poets must show up to sign up and space is limited. oh man! the old farm on Fitchville Road kinda scares me a little sometimes. I can never go there by myself. i drive past it every day. in the summer, sometimes there's random lawn chairs and beer cans inside the part of the part that you can't see from the road. people must party in there randomly.
