I think that they have a great community spirit. They allow people to really get into the arts and get connected with themselves in a nuturing environment. I am always looking for people to collaborate with.
Are you an artist?
if yes, what is your medium?
Textile, fiber arts, photography.
have you shown in the annual Hygienic Art Salon des Independants? What years?
I'm no art teacher but I can give you a crash course so you can get started,
Get a canvas and some acrylic white and some black. All you do with Black and White is just lighting the paint down. To do shades you can use a little bit of Black in some water its like a dark glaze, it will be like a shadow, get an old Family photo that's in B & W and study the tones and shading in it, that will give you a good idea how you can apply that in a painting. Sara go to my site and look at some of my work. Jennifer and little one is an awesome example of shading and color tone in a Black and White painting. So just try doing the Brick in the back ground, with acrylics you just need water for clean up.
