Yes, I made "Big Bird" and yes I know he doesn't look like him. Hey, you can't even make a snow ball with the snow there so I am proud just to have him standing - is he still up?
For the Hygienic I am proud that:
1. I sold or had offers to sell many of my old art work.
2. I think I am the only one with a permanent art work in the Hygienic (the bird house).
3. A person took a picture of my art work (snow Hygienic Lady) and put it in the show.
4. An art work of mine was part of a picture in the Day newspaper (A snow man building a sculpture in front of the Hygienic).
I am most proud that I made over two-hundred well edited film clips that took me thousands of hours to do (I finally listed them so I could convert them to DVD). This includes a feature length movie ( I consider OK/of interest) and two three hour history documentaries (New London and Hartford). My twenty promotional videos of different towns/attractions I think are so good I am trying to sell/give them to different people/companies (CT Tourism).
I did more than four film clips on the Hygienic and promoted it many times a new show came there on my TV show.
Of course you have to have an ego to be a hard working non-professional artist.
I lived in New London for eight years and had my TV show in and about New London County until last year.
