writer, "Austerity" a full-length stage play about the last day of Dimitris Christoulas, a retired pharmacist who took his own life on the steps of the Greek Parliament Building in Syntagma (Constitution) Square, Athens, on April 4, 2012. The death of Christoulas has been a flash point in the people's struggle against government imposed cutbacks. Like Socrates, Christoulas sacrificed his own life to spotlight the criminal activities of corrupt governments.
